Farm Aid has nearly 40 years of experience working with farmers. Our Hotline Team has compiled the best resources for several important topics that we hear from farmers about again and again, including Farm Stress, Disaster Support, Legal Assistance and more.
Please note that some of the grant and loan opportunities listed in our resource guides are administered by USDA. Some USDA funding programs have recently experienced delays, freezes, or even terminations due to recent executive orders. As a result, farmers should be cautious when considering these opportunities. Before applying for any USDA grants or financial assistance, it’s highly recommended to consult with a qualified advisor who can provide guidance on the current status of these programs and help assess potential risks. An advisor can help ensure that you’re applying for the right funding at the right time and can guide you through any updates or shifts in eligibility. The Civil Eats Policy Tracker maintains a list of reported funding freezes and terminations — farmers may choose to use this as a loose guide to which funding programs may be affected, though it is advisable to verify with other sources as well.
