Farm Aid 2021 will take place on Saturday, September 25, at Xfinity Theatre in Hartford, Connecticut. Doors will open at noon.
Xfinity Theatre and Farm Aid strive to ensure that all of our guests have a great time at our venue. If you need additional assistance while you are here please make sure you let us know.
Ticketing: ADA tickets can be purchased online via www.livenation.com. You do not need to call the box office to place an order as all of our accessible tickets are available through www.livenation.com. Look for the logo on the Find Tickets page to view all available accessible seats. We do have accessible seating in every price range, but be advised it does occasionally sell out. We have very limited seating available for guests on the day of the event so please make sure you purchase accessible seating when you order tickets.
Day of Show Parking: Accessible Parking is located in our Premier Parking Lot. Let the parking staff know that you need accessible parking and they will direct you to this lot. You need to have an accessible placard in order to park in this lot, and please be advised that Accessible parking is limited and provided on a first come, first served basis.
Accessible Stations: if you have questions or need assistance please visit our Administrative Office located next to the main lobby.
Unexpected Needs: if you have had an injury or illness that prevents you from using the original seat you purchased we strongly recommend going through www.livenation.com to exchange all tickets for accessible. We will have a very limited number of seats available on the day of the show for such issues, but we cannot guarantee we will be able to seat you. Please remember that accessible seating permits for the guest with the accessible need and one companion.
Interpreter Requests: if you will need an interpreter for an event please give us at least 2 weeks notice to secure. Guests that request an interpreter will need to contact our guest services located in the Administrative office and we will introduce you to your interpreter for the evening and take you to your seats. There is no charge for interpreter services. Please call 860-548-7370 to arrange for an interpreter for your visit.
Accommodations: all venue bathrooms, concession stands, and merchandise stands are accessible.
Hearing Assistance: Guests that require assisted listening devices can contact our venue office prior to the event to arrange for a device. Please give us at least 2 days notice. Guests that require interpreter service can call the venue and arrange this for any event. We need at least 2 weeks notice to secure an interpreter. We can be reached at 860-548-7370.
Service Animals: Like many venues and other large places of assembly, the Xfinity Theatre has a “no pets” policy. However, Live Nation’s policy explicitly permits guests with disabilities who use dogs as service animals. Xfinity Theatre’s policy, consistent with ADA’s revised guidelines, defines “service animal” as limited to a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the individual’s disability.
Xfinity Theatre requires, consistent with the ADA, that service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents him or her from using these devices. Individuals who cannot use such devices must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective methods.
Xfinity Theatre offers a wide variety of alcoholic beverages for purchase during your time at the venue. You are not permitted to bring any alcoholic beverages into the venue. A valid and current Driver License or State ID card is required to purchase alcohol- guests will be required to show ID every time they purchase.
All Access Passes
All Access passes or Backstage Passes are not available for purchase. Visit www.livenation.com to view any VIP packages that may involve a meet and greet or additional access. The venue box office does not sell any meet and greet, backstage or venue passes.
There are multiple ATM’s on site located in the main lobby, near the outside restroom building, and in the Upper Plaza next to the concession stand.
If any assistance is needed with your vehicle please contact your normal Emergency Assistance provider. Xfinity Theatre does not have tow or lockout services on site. Emergency assistance vehicles are permitted on property to assist with lockouts, jumps or tows but the guest will need to arrange for such services.
To reduce staff contact with guest belongings, we have implemented the following bag policy: we will allow clear plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” and/or small clutch bags (4.5”x 6.5”). No other bags of any type will be allowed.
All bags are subject to search upon entry. Guest have the right to refuse a bag search and the venue has the right to refuse entry. If you have any items that are not allowed into the venue please return them to your vehicle.
Banners and Signs
Signs larger than 8.5 X 11 in are not permitted into the venue. This size is a standard sheet of paper. We do not allow in banners or signs that are larger than this due to the potential to block other guest’s view of the performance. All signs must be appropriate in nature and not be a distraction to the artist.
Stationary bike racks are not available at this location. Xfinity Theatre is not responsible for lost or stolen bicycles.
Due to the ongoing global pandemic, and to protect the health and safety of our guests and venue staff members, the box office at XFINITY Theatre will be open on-day-of-show only. If you’d like to purchase tickets, please visit us at www.livenation.com.
Buses are considered an oversized vehicle and will be charged $100.00 if they will be remaining on site during the event. Bus parking is limited and is on a first come first serve basis. Buses that will be dropping off guests can leave the parking lot and return 45 minutes prior to the end of the event with no additional charge. All buses may be boarded by our security staff to ensure no underage drinking is taking place on the bus. If there is any underage drinking, the whole bus will be turned around and no one will be able to enter the event. The venue will not issue refunds and bears no expense that will be incurred due to non-admittance. Hartford Police Department will be on site assisting in the parking lot to ensure all guests on buses are acting appropriately and within accordance of the law. Subject to change based on event.
Camera phones, disposable cameras, and small digital cameras are allowed. Any camera that has a detachable lens will be considered professional and not allowed in unless the person has applied for and received a media pass from Farm Aid. If the camera lens zooms out of the camera more than 1 inch, it will be considered a professional camera and will not be allowed in.
The venue does not allow camping or overnight parking of any kind.
Cancellations will only occur in the event of severe weather or an act of God. In the event of a cancellation local media will be notified and any information about a potential reschedule will be made available. Refunds will be available at the point of purchase.
Cell phones are permitted in the venue. Use the Farm Aid 2021 App for iPhone and Android to plan your day and stay up-to-date.
Children 2 and under do not require a ticket, but must sit on a parent’s lap. Venue management is not responsible for artistic content and therefore we ask that parents use discretion when deciding whether to purchase tickets for children.
Conceal and Carry
Xfinity Theatre does not allow weapons of any kind on our property. Guests should follow all applicable laws regarding securing a weapon in a vehicle if they have it on them when they arrive. The venue will not secure weapons and will take no responsibility for any weapons left in vehicles.
Xfinity Theatre offers a wide variety of concession options through the venue. This includes cheeseburgers, hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, candy, popcorn, fountain soda (Pepsi Products), water, and Red Bull.
Concessions are located throughout the venue with multiple locations in our main plaza, upper plaza, lobby, as well as on the lawn.
At Farm Aid 2021, you’ll enjoy Farm Aid’s own HOMEGROWN Concessions®, which brings festivalgoers family farm-sourced foods that meet our criteria: food that is sustainably produced by family farmers, grown and raised with ecological practices, and a commitment to a fair price for farmers. COVID-19 Safety Measures
Farm Aid 2021 will be an outdoor, open air event and the safety of our fans, artists, staff, vendors, supporters, and farmers is our top priority. We’re grateful to the management and staff at Xfinity Theatre for working hand-in-hand with us.
Venue and Farm Aid staff are staying up-to-date on the latest CDC guidance and industry best practices to limit the transmission of COVID-19. We are taking various precautions, including seeking advice from public health experts, enhanced sanitation protocols and streamlining operations to prevent unnecessary crowding. We will monitor the situation closely and will update protocols as warranted leading up to the festival.
Based on current guidelines from the State of Connecticut, Farm Aid will not require vaccination proof, COVID testing, or masking outdoors. However, please respect your fellow family farm supporters who choose to wear a mask.
We will communicate and publish detailed protocols on our website as the event date approaches so you know exactly what to expect.
All main concession stands take Visa / MasterCard / Discover and American Express. Smaller stands and portable concessions may be cash only. See ATMs for locations on site. All merchandise stands take all major credit cards.
Xfinity Theatre concessionaire offers a free fountain soda to guests that commit to be the designated driver for their party. Please visit the designated driver booth located just inside the main gates or at the Guest Services table in the lobby.
Guests are permitted to bring in one (1) factory sealed bottle of water up to one liter in size. Aluminum bottles and refillable plastic water bottles are permitted. Free water station refill stations are located in the mid-way plaza next to Dog Haus and across from Jack’s Bar. Water fountains are located by the lobby restrooms. Camelbacks are not permitted.
Drop off areas are located in the EZ Out parking lot. Please follow directional signs and staff to the appropriate drop off/pick up location. Guests cannot remain in their vehicles during the event. They must drop off and return 45 minutes prior to the end of the show. If you are not back within 45 minutes of the end of the event- you will not be allowed to enter until the majority of cars have exited the parking lot. Local law enforcement will shut down all incoming traffic and only allow traffic out of the venue.
In the event of an emergency while on site, Xfinity Theatre has trained paramedics to assist with any medical issues. First Aid is located to the right of the main gates as you enter the venue but any staff member with a radio can dispatch First Aid to the location needed. Local law enforcement officers are also on site for every event and can assist if needed or requested. Venue management works closely with all appropriate emergency agencies and services to ensure that we are up to date on any dangerous weather or potential crowd related issues. In the event of a weather emergency we will communicate with guests that are inside of the facility as well as guests on their way to the venue. There are a total of 3 large entrance gates to the facility. All gates are available for use regardless of the ticket type. The fast lane entrance is located at Gate C. to the left of the box office. You must have your event ticket and Fast Lane pass to utilize this gate. The VIP Club has a separate entry gate located to the right of the main gate, across from ADA Accessible parking area. All guests using this gate must be VIP clients and have the appropriate ticket.
EZ Out Parking
Quick & easy exit after the show! Be one of the first out of traffic and on your way home before most everyone else. This lot is near the venue and has a dedicated exit with quick access to 91 North and South. Entrance to lot is on the east side of Reverend Moody Overpass and Savitt Way intersection, by the Mini Cooper dealership.

Parking Hang Tags will be mailed out 10 days in advance of event, and MUST be displayed as you approach the venue to gain access to the lot. You may also purchase in advance at the Toyota Oakdale Theater Box Office in Wallingford, CT. Day of show purchases can be made at the entrance to the lot, subject to availability. Rates vary by event. Cash and Credit are accepted.
If you need assistance while at an event, please visit the guest services booth, located inside the lobby to the right as you walk in.
For select events, guests can purchase Fast Lane passes for each event at www.livenation.com or go to the Upgrades page on livenation.com. The Fast Lane passes do not guarantee the guest to enter any earlier than the designated gate time, however it does have a shorter line. Fast Lane Gates are located at Gate C, to the left of the box office.
Parking lots will generally open 3 hours prior to our scheduled gate time. Farm Aid 2021 gates open at 12:00 p.m. Please do not attempt to enter the venue any earlier than the designated times as you will be turned around and told to return when the parking lots open.
Group Ticket Sales
Xfinity Theatre does not offer group ticket sales. If you have a large party that will be attending the show the only option would be to contact our Premium Seating Department at 203-949-7715. Premium Seating sells all VIP boxes, suites, and clubs at the venue that can accommodate larger parties than the standard ticket limit.
Guests are expected to behave respectfully and in accordance with venue policy, state and local laws. Any guest that is acting in a manner that venue management deems unsafe can be subject to eviction. If a guest violates a state or local law they will be subject to any tickets or punishment deemed necessary by local law enforcement.
Farm Aid has partnered with QuintRooms to assist festivalgoers with their lodging needs for Farm Aid 2021. Every room night booked through this QuintRooms link generates a $2 contribution for Farm Aid’s HOMEGROWN Youthmarket.

Lawn Chair Rental
Lawn Chairs are available for rent at the venue for $10.00 per chair. They must be returned at the end of the show to the pick-up location. Guests are able to bring their own collapsible camping chairs, but they must be no higher than 43 inches when collapsed. No folding chairs permitted.
The lawn is always first come, first serve. Guests may notice a row or seat number on their lawn ticket, but that is only used for tracking purposes. There are no assigned seats on the lawn.
Lost and Found
If you lose an item while you are at an event, you can visit out administrative office located next to the main lobby to see if it has been turned in.
Lost or Stolen Tickets
Please report any lost or stolen tickets to Ticketmaster as soon as you are aware they are missing or destroyed. If a ticket needs to be reprinted during the event, guests can visit the box office and have their ticket reprinted for a fee.

From Worcester, Boston and Points East: I-84 West to exit 50 (Main Street). Take a right at end of the ramp onto Market Street. Theater is located one mile up on the left. Follow signs for XFINITY Theatre parking.
From Danbury, CT and Points West: I-84 East to Exit 50 (Main Street) Take a left onto Windsor and an immediate right onto Pleasant. At the next light, take a left onto Market Street. You’ll be on the R.A. Theater is located one mile up on the left. Follow signs for XFINITY Theatre parking.
From New Haven, Fairfield County, NYC Area and Points South: I-95 North or the Merritt Parkway North to I-91 North (begins in New Haven.) Take Exit 32B (Trumbull Street.) Take a right at the end of the ramp onto Market Street. Follow signs for XFINITY Theatre parking.
From Springfield, MA and Points North: I-91 South to Exit 33 (Jennings Road.) Take a right off the exit. At the first light take a left onto Weston Street. Theater is located 1 mile up on the right. Follow signs for XFINITY Theatre parking.

First Aid is located to the left next to the main gates once you are inside the facility. We have trained medical personnel that are able to assist with any issue you encounter. We have ambulances on site throughout the duration of the event that can transport guests if needed. If you have medication that you need stored in a refrigerator please go to First Aid and our medical staff will assist you. If you have a condition that requires you to use a needle for medication while you are here- please do so in our medical office so the syringe can be properly disposed of.
It is recommended that guests bringing medication into the venue for necessary or possible administration during the show utilize or have with them the original container and/or label pertaining to the prescription, or other form of documentation or confirmation of personal medical use, which may be requested of the guest for examination and verification by venue staff or security.
Merchandise will be available at our Concert Gear booths located inside the main gates, inside the lobby and in the upper plaza near the lawn. All concert gear is property of Farm Aid and the venue has no responsibility related to the craftsmanship or style of any merchandise. Please make sure you check that you have the correct size and there are no defects in the shirt before you walk away from the stand. The venue cannot assist with replacing or refunding any merchandise after the event has ended.
Motorcycle parking is limited and located to the left of our main gates. Motorcycle parking is $10.00.
There is no overnight parking permitted at the venue. Xfinity Theatre doesn’t actively tow vehicles unless they are parked illegally or blocking emergency access. However, any unauthorized vehicles on site prior to an event or after an event could be towed at the owner’s expense.
Xfinity Theatre parking is located in 5 main locations:
Premier Parking Lot: paid Premier Parking and Reserved Parking are located adjacent to the main entrance of the facility and be accessed at the intersection of Savitt Way and Weston streets. Go to the “Premier Parking” or “Reserved Parking” header for more information on how to purchase.
EZ Out Parking Lot: paid EZ Out parking is located to the West at the intersection of Savitt Way and Weston Streets. Go to the “EZ Out Parking” header for more information on how to purchase.
Raitech Parking Lot: no additional charge for parking in the Railtech lot located at the intersection of New Road and Weston Streets, one light north of the entrance to the Premier Parking lot.
Market-Pequot Lot: no additional charge for parking in the Market-Pequot lot located at the intersection of Market and Pequot streets just north of exit ramp 32B on I-91.
Morgan Street Garage: no additional charge for parking in the Morgan street garage located at the intersection of Market and Talcott Streets just south of the I-84/I-91 interchange on Market street.

ADA Accessible Parking is located within the Premier Parking lot adjacent to the main gates. In an effort to provide ADA Accessible parking to our guests who need it, we require guests to display a valid ADA Accessible hang-tag or license plate. ADA parking is available on a first come first served basis.
Local law enforcement are on site for every event and are responsible for directing all traffic into the venue. On duty law enforcement officers are the only individuals able to carry a weapon on our property. We do not allow conceal and carry weapons to be brought onto our property nor will we secure them.
Pop-up tents are not permitted into the venue.
Park close to the front gates and guarantee your parking spot right up to show time! This lot is located on Savitt Way. Premier Parking spaces will be held for you up until the start of the show and cannot be guaranteed if you arrive after the show starts.

Premium / VIP Seating
If you are interested in purchasing a floor box, season seats or club access for the season please contact our PSS department at (203) 949-7715. Neither the venue receptionists nor the box office can answer questions regarding pricing or availability for these boxes.
CT Transit does provide limited service to the area surrounding Xfinity Theatre. Please check their schedule in advance of the event to confirm the last pick time.
Re-Entry is not permitted at Xfinity Theatre. Please ensure that everything you will need for the event is brought in with you. If you do leave at any point in the evening, you will not be allowed back in without a new ticket.
Recycling & Composting
Live Nation is dedicated to reducing waste and consumption across the live music experience at our amphitheaters across the country. You will find recycling and composting stations throughout the venue with instructional signage as to what items should be disposed of in each bin.

Restrooms are located throughout the venue. We have indoor restrooms located inside our main lobby as well as west side of our main plaza – to the right as you enter the front gates and in the Xfinity Hot Spot.
The largest collection of indoor restrooms is located on the west side of the main plaza to the right as you enter the main gates. We encourage guests to save time by taking a few extra steps to reach this location and enjoy much shorter lines – especially for our female and female-identifying guests.
In addition, we have a large number of portable toilets in three locations within the venue – upper plaza across from main lawn stairs, center top of the lawn and bottom of the lawn house right/800 section.
Scalping or reselling tickets is strictly prohibited on the property of the venue. Any guest caught selling tickets on property will be turned over to local law enforcement.
When coming through the gates, please plan on security using metal detectors and/or a physical pat down for our search procedures. All bags are subject to inspection. If you have a medical reason for not wanting to be searched via metal detectors, please inform the security supervisor at your entrance and he/she will help you visit our First Aid station, which is located to the right of the main gate, and they will assist in finding an alternative to our metal detectors.
Venue security and law enforcement are located throughout the facility to ensure a safe and secure environment. All security personnel are wearing white shirts and can assist with any questions or concerns. Please do not hesitate to contact our on-site staff if any assistance is needed.

No smoking is allowed inside the lobby or reserved seating areas. While we do not restrict smoking on the lawn please be courteous to others – if guests around you are complaining we will ask you to smoke in the plazas. We appreciate your cooperation.
Sponsorship / No Hand Outs
All sponsorship inquiries should be directed to Farm Aid (617-354-2922 or Dennis@imsevents.com). No handouts are permitted and no presence on site without permission from Farm Aid or venue. If you do not have permission to be on site you will be escorted off property.
Only collapsible strollers are permitted, with lawn tickets only. There is no storage available for reserved seats and strollers cannot be kept in aisles
Reasonable and responsible tailgating is allowed until gates open. Open flames and glass containers are not allowed. Parking lot cross aisles must remain clear for emergency vehicle access at all times. Hartford Police enforce zero tolerance against underage consumption of alcohol.

Because of the proximity to downtown Hartford and a large number of potential conflicting events, traffic can be difficult at times. Please allow yourself extra time to deal with potential traffic delays, especially on weekday shows. We do encourage carpooling for all shows.

Compact umbrellas and non-pointed umbrellas are allowed into the venue. Golf umbrellas or umbrellas with metal pointed ends are not permitted.
Upgrades are available through the Upgrades page of livenation.com, or through the Experience App – download it to see all of the upgrades and experiences we have available.
The VIP Club at Xfinity Theatre is an exclusive area to the right of the main gate as you enter the venue, and is available only to credentialed guests who purchase tickets through the Farm Aid and Live Nation VIP programs. The Farm Aid and Live Nation VIP programs in the Club offers premium private full service bars, merchandise booth, restrooms, and includes complementary food stations and guest chef pop-ups.
Due to the urban location of the venue, as well as the Farm Aid festival’s expanded site requirements, VIP Parking is extremely limited and may not be available for all guests. Guests must exhibit a Farm Aid VIP Parking Pass or be on the approved list to access the available spaces in the lot. The entrance will be on Savitt Way; follow the VIP Parking directional sign as you approach the venue.
An event may be delayed, postponed, or cancelled depending on the severity of the weather expected.
Will call tickets are available for pickup at the box office located which is located to the left of our main gate entrance. Please make sure that you have a photo ID matching the purchaser’s name to pick up tickets. Any name changes need to go through Ticketmaster Customer Service – 800-653-8000.
Guests are not permitted to put tickets in will call for other guests to pick up. You will need to arrange to meet your party at the facility to deliver tickets.
If tickets or passes are being left for you, they will only be left at the box office. This includes meet and greet passes, backstage passes, press passes, and tickets from the tour or other promotional company. The venue not get these tickets until the day of the event close to doors so please do not try to pick them up earlier. If your tickets/passes are not in will-call you will need to contact the person that left them for you to determine where they are. The box office cannot contact any member of the festival for you.
