COVID Safety at Farm Aid 2021

Farm Aid is excited to be returning to live performances after our virtual festival in 2020, and we’re thrilled that Hartford is welcoming us back! We’re grateful to the management and staff at Xfinity Theatre for working hand-in-hand with us to ensure the safety of our artists, crew, volunteers, farmers and fans.

Venue and Farm Aid staff are staying up-to-date on the latest CDC guidance and industry best practices to limit the transmission of COVID-19. We are taking various precautions, including seeking advice from public health experts, enhanced sanitation protocols and streamlining operations to prevent unnecessary crowding.

New Vaccine/Test Requirements

To ensure the safety and well-being of festivalgoers and artists, on August 17, Farm Aid is announcing new safety protocols for EVERYONE attending Farm Aid 2021 on Saturday, September 25.

All attendees of Farm Aid 2021 will be required to show proof of full vaccination OR proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 48 hours prior to entering Xfinity Theatre. Date and time-stamped nose swab PCR tests or rapid antigen tests are both acceptable.

The requirement of proof of a negative test within 48 hours of entry includes unvaccinated fans under 12 years of age. These regulations will apply to all members of your party before they are allowed entry to the event and to any users of the tickets purchased by you.

Please bring printed proof of full vaccination (at least two weeks after final dose) OR proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 48 hours prior to entering the venue. A printed copy of your vaccination or test results will streamline the verification process at the gate. Your original vaccination card or a paper copy of the vaccination card/test results are acceptable.

Additionally, Farm Aid encourages all guests to wear a mask for the duration of the event. The City of Hartford currently mandates that masks must be worn indoors. At the venue, this includes the lobby and bathrooms, along with shuttle buses to and from parking lots.

Refunds

If you bought tickets for Farm Aid 2021 through Ticketmaster/Live Nation or the Farm Aid presale (via Ticketstoday), you received an email directly from the outlet where you purchased your tickets with instructions for requesting a refund during the 7-day refund window of August 18-25. That refund window has now passed and refunds are no longer able to be processed.

On-site Testing Available

Live Nation is offering a limited number of tests at the venue. For $39.99, you can sign up to receive a Rapid COVID Antigen test on-site. Simply schedule your 15-minute rapid antigen test, show up to the venue at your requested time, and proceed to the designated testing area. Your confidential results will be uploaded to your phone so you can enter the gates with proof of a negative test.
