by Steve Snyder

Update: The race has been moved to Sunday, June 28 at 9:30 a.m. EDT.

Farm Aid is pleased to partner with Pocono Organics and Rodale Institute for a series of NASCAR races to be broadcast on Saturday, June 27! The Race for Family Farms program will honor our essential family farmers and ranchers and seeks to raise awareness and funds in support of our COVID-19 Farmer Resilience Initiative and other programs.

The Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series Pocono Organics 150 to benefit Farm Aid race will air live from the Pocono Raceway on the FS1 network starting at 12 p.m. EDT on Saturday, June 27. It will be followed by the Pocono Organics 325 in partnership with Rodale Institute Cup Series race live on FOX starting at 3:30 p.m. EDT Saturday.

Pocono Organics, located in Long Pond, Pennsylvania, is one of the largest regenerative organic farms in North America with more than 380 acres of farm land. Along with an organic farmer’s market and café, it also serves the local community through its Clean Food, Dirty Hands school education program and veterans in transition through a Veteran Farmer Training Program. They’re partnering with Rodale Institute to expand organic agriculture and farmer training to new audiences while collaborating on innovative research and outreach initiatives.

Rodale Institute is a nonprofit leader in Regenerative Organic Agriculture research and education. For more than 70 years, the institute has expanded the organic movement and advocated for policies that support farmers through groundbreaking scientific research studies, farmer training programs, and consumer education.
