Grace Potter’s Spicy & Sweet Acorn Squash Recipe

With Thanksgiving in a few days, we’re giving thanks to farmers and ranchers who bring us good food, and all of the people working to create a just and fair food system.

Grace Potter is grateful for family farmers, knowing they’re essential to our food system and communities. When she’s cooking — and dancing around— in her kitchen, she makes sure to give thanks to farmers. One of her favorite recipes is a sweet and spicy acorn squash. And, in case you haven’t completed your Thanksgiving meal plan, you’re in luck: Grace shared her favorite savory squash recipe with us!

I love that Farm Aid celebrates good food and good music. They support farmers like the ones I grew up with [in Vermont]. I love sharing time with people in my kitchen, and cooking up a feast is the best way to exchange love. That starts with family farmers.
