Farm Aid’s Hotline Program Manager featured on Fresh Take podcast

Caitlin Arnold Stephano, Farm Aid’s Hotline Program Manager, is the guest on Fresh Take this week. The podcast covers “everything you need to know about sustainable living, organic agriculture, and how to make the best lifestyle choices that benefit you and the environment” and comes to us from our partners at Florida Organic Growers.

On the podcast, Caitlin discusses her history as a farmer and farm advocate along with her work on Farm Aid’s Farmer Services team. She describes how funding from the Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network has allowed Farm Aid to expand our hotline team (from one person to six) to answer calls and emails from farmers in longer hours from 9am to 10pm ET. Caitlin points out that the Farm Aid hotline is more than a crisis line, and talks about the growing number of resources available through our Farmer Resource Network.
