Danielle Evin

From a very early age, multi-instrumentalist Danielle Evin has been devoted to music. With parents in creative fields, she grew up in both Los Angeles and New York City, surrounded by musicians and artists. At the age of 8, Danielle took up piano, followed by violin, then guitar and most recently the mandolin. Her journey into songwriting began at 17. In 2004, Evin entered the studio with Grammy-winning producer Jack Douglas (John Lennon, The Who, Aerosmith), resulting in the critically praised 2006 self-titled release Danielle Evin.

This past year has been a turning point for Danielle. She is wrapping up a new album, Hot Water Street, under the brilliant guidance of legendary producer Phil Ramone (Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Ray Charles). This album "is the culmination of years of invaluable personal and professional experience," says Evin. Hot Water Street will be available this winter.

Danielle Evin has appeared on the CBS "Early Show's" "Second Cup Café," NBC's "Today in New York," the FOX-affiliated "Fearless Music," NBC's "Morning Show Philadelphia," the CW11 "Morning Show," Comcast's "Nite Beat," and CNBC's "Fast Money." In addition, her music has been featured on CBS' "The Unit," MTV's "Real World" and "Road Rules." Together with Phil Ramone, she contributes a weekly music blog for The Huffington Post.
