Washington Square Serenade has received overwhelming critical praise from The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, Esquire, and USA Today among others and was also named #1 on the infamous novelist Stephen King’s top records of the year in Entertainment Weekly. Earle was featured as a recurring character on HBO’s distinguished series “The Wire,” has been seen as an actor on “Law & Order,” hosts a weekly radio show, Hardcore Troubadour Radio on Sirius Satellite Radio and is completing his first novel to be published by Houghton Mifflin. He is the author of the critically acclaimed collection of short stories Doghouse Roses. He is married to the singer-songwriter Allison Moorer and the couple lives in NYC’s Greenwich Village.
