Discounted tickets to see Neil Young with us in Massachusetts

On Wednesday, July 22, much of the Farm Aid staff will be watching Neil Young + Promise of the Real perform at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts. We hope you can join us, and to help make that a little easier, we’ve arranged for big discounts on a special block of outstanding seats.

Farm Aid co-founder and board artist Neil Young will perform with Promise of the Real, who are described as a “cowboy hippie surf band” and feature Willie Nelson’s sons Lukas Nelson and Micah Nelson. The special guest opening band is Puss N Boots, featuring Farm Aid artists Norah Jones and Sasha Dobson, along with Catherine Popper.

We are offering a limited number of discounted tickets for this show in sections 1, 2, and 3 of the pavilion. Normally, these seats are $163, but with this special Farm Aid offer, they’re available for only $63. Another section of open air reserved seats, normally $53, are available for $30. An additional service fee will be added to your order.

Neil Young’s performance will include both acoustic and electric sets of new songs and rock classics. Recent rave reviews, like this one, have said “(Young) defied expectations” and “When all is said and done, they [POTR] may very well be the most versatile band Young has ever shared a stage with.” Last year’s audience got a sneak preview when Neil closed out his Farm Aid 2014 set with “Rockin’ in the Free World” joined by Lukas and Micah:

Live Nation will give a $10 donation to Farm Aid for each ticket purchased through this offer and you’ll get free parking and a free download of the new Neil Young + Promise of the Real album, The Monsanto Years.

We hope you can join us in Mansfield next Wednesday!
