Happy Thanksgiving! How do you put it into practice?
Happy Thanksgiving all! Thanksgiving is our favorite holiday, because it's all about good food from family farmers.
It's been a full year since we started writing the Putting It Into Practice column. We started the column to help inspire everyone with simple, everyday ways to put into practice your support of family farmers. It seems fitting that a year into writing this, we're asking you to tell us how you Put It Into Practice!
Specifically, we'd like to hear about how you're supporting family farmers for Thanksgiving. Please inspire us with your stories, recipes and photos of how you put family farm food on the table! You can post your stories in the comments area below. Or, if you'd like to send photos and/or videos, email them to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We'll post some of your photos and stories on our blog.
Supporting family farmers is all about creating, nurturing and celebrating community. We're thankful you're part of our community.
From all of us at Farm Aid, thanks for your support.
For Thanksgiving 2009, the Farm Aid staff responded to the question of "Why are you thankful for family farmers?" Read our answers here.
